Πώς η Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη μετατρέπεται από τεχνολογία σε ουσιαστικό επιχειρηματικό εργαλείο

Με επιτυχία πραγματοποιήθηκε τη Δευτέρα 3 Φεβρουαρίου η εκδήλωση «Unlocking AI Literacy for Meaningful Business Impact», με επίκεντρο την κατανόηση της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης και τη μετάφρασή της σε πραγματική επιχειρηματική αξία.

Στελέχη της αγοράς και ειδικοί της τεχνολογίας ανέλυσαν πώς η AI μπορεί να ενσωματωθεί ουσιαστικά στις επιχειρήσεις, εστιάζοντας όχι μόνο στις τεχνολογικές της δυνατότητες, αλλά και στη στρατηγική, τη διακυβέρνηση δεδομένων και τον ανθρώπινο παράγοντα.

Την εκδήλωση άνοιξε με χαιρετισμό ο Πρόεδρος του Ελληνο-Ολλανδικού Συνδέσμου, κ. Γιάννης Κάντωρος, CEO of INTERAMERICAN Group of Companies, ο οποίος ήταν και ο οικοδεσπότης της βραδιάς

Ακολούθησε χαιρετισμός από τον Πρόεδρο της Επιτροπής Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης, κ. Δημήτρη Κατσούρη, ο οποίος παρουσίασε το έργο και τις πρωτοβουλίες της Επιτροπής AI, καθώς και το όραμά της για την ενίσχυση της AI παιδείας στις επιχειρήσεις. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, παρουσιάστηκε και το AI avatar της Επιτροπής, αναδεικνύοντας με πρακτικό τρόπο τις δυνατότητες της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης στην πράξη.

Στη συνέχεια, η Clio Avatar παρουσίασε τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας που πραγματοποιήθηκε εντός των εταιρειών-μελών του HeDA.

Keynote Ομιλία

Pasquale Zamprotta
Head of Public Affairs Italy, Greece & Israel, Philips

Ακολούθησε η keynote ομιλία του κ. Pasquale Zamprotta. Τα τελευταία χρόνια, η Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη (ΤΝ) έχει αποκτήσει ισχυρή παρουσία στον τομέα της υγειονομικής περίθαλψης, προωθώντας καινοτομίες που υπόσχονται τη βελτίωση της ποιότητας φροντίδας και των αποτελεσμάτων για τους ασθενείς, παράλληλα με τη μείωση του κόστους.

Ωστόσο, όπως τόνισε, σε αντίθεση με έναν υπερβολικό τεχνολογικό ενθουσιασμό, η ΤΝ δεν αποτελεί από μόνη της λύση. Στην Philips, η αξία της ΤΝ στην υγειονομική περίθαλψη είναι άρρηκτα συνδεδεμένη με την ανθρώπινη εμπειρία που υποστηρίζει, γεγονός που καθιστά απαραίτητη μια ανθρωποκεντρική προσέγγιση, με τους επαγγελματίες υγείας και τους ασθενείς στο επίκεντρο.

Η αυξανόμενη παρουσία της ΤΝ στον χώρο αποτυπώνεται και στα δεδομένα της αγοράς, με περισσότερα από 500.000 ενεργά διπλώματα ευρεσιτεχνίας ΤΝ να αξιοποιούνται σε νοσοκομειακά περιβάλλοντα, εκ των οποίων περίπου το 80% αφορά την ιατρική απεικόνιση, καθώς και με περίπου 1.000 ιατρικές συσκευές που διαθέτουν ενσωματωμένες εφαρμογές ΤΝ.

Το πάνελ πλαισίωσαν οι Ιωάννης Κάσσιος, Γιώργος Μυτιληναίος, Εύη Μπουκώρου- Γεωργούδα και Δημήτρης Κατσούρης, οι οποίοι ανέλυσαν βασικές πτυχές της εισαγωγής της AI στις επιχειρήσεις.

Ioannis Kassios

Managing Director, TECHNOGRAFIA

Ο κ. Κάσσιος ανέλυσε τον ρόλο των Μεγάλων Γλωσσικών Μοντέλων (Large Language Models – LLMs) ως τεχνολογίες αιχμής που επιτρέπουν την κατανόηση και παραγωγή ανθρώπινης γλώσσας. Τόνισε ότι η ισχύς τους προέρχεται από τεράστιους όγκους δεδομένων και δισεκατομμύρια έως τρισεκατομμύρια παραμέτρους, προσφέροντας ταχύτητα, κλίμακα και πολυγλωσσική εμβέλεια. Υπογράμμισε, ωστόσο, ότι η πραγματική αξία της AI αναδεικνύεται όταν συνδυάζεται με την ανθρώπινη τεχνογνωσία, μέσα από το μοντέλο «human in the loop».

Dimitrios Katsouris

Πρόεδρος Επιτροπής AI & Co-CEO, PILLAR DELTA AI

Ο κ. Κατσούρης ανέδειξε ότι η υιοθέτηση της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης σε επιχειρησιακό επίπεδο δεν αποτελεί απλώς τεχνολογική αναβάθμιση, αλλά έναν συνολικό στρατηγικό και οργανωσιακό μετασχηματισμό. Επισήμανε πως οι περισσότερες επιχειρήσεις δυσκολεύονται λόγω κατακερματισμένων δεδομένων και παρωχημένων διαδικασιών, γεγονός που περιορίζει την αξιοπιστία της AI σε κλίμακα. Παράλληλα, τόνισε τους κινδύνους διαρροής δεδομένων και τη σημασία της ενίσχυσης της διακυβέρνησης, της ποιότητας και της ασφάλειας των δεδομένων πριν από οποιαδήποτε κλιμάκωση.

Evi Boukorou Georgouda

CEO & Partner, Generation Y

Η κα. Μπουκώρου- Γεωργούδα ανέλυσε πώς η ενσωμάτωση της AI και των chatbots αλλάζει ριζικά το visibility των brands στο ψηφιακό οικοσύστημα. Υπογράμμισε ότι το ψηφιακό αποτύπωμα των επιχειρήσεων πλέον διαμορφώνεται από συνεπή, τεκμηριωμένη και ποιοτική παρουσία, με το περιεχόμενο να εξελίσσεται σε στρατηγικό περιουσιακό στοιχείο που ενισχύει τη φήμη ενός brand και αυξάνει τις πιθανότητες να αποτελεί σημείο αναφοράς για τα συστήματα AI.

Agentic AI (Case Study)

Ο κ. Μυτιληναίος παρουσίασε ένα πρακτικό παράδειγμα εφαρμογής Agentic AI, εστιάζοντας στον τρόπο με τον οποίο αυτόνομα AI συστήματα μπορούν να υποστηρίξουν σύνθετες επιχειρησιακές διαδικασίες, να ενισχύσουν τη λήψη αποφάσεων και να βελτιώσουν την αποδοτικότητα σε ψηφιακά περιβάλλοντα μεγάλης κλίμακας.

Στο πάνελ συμμετείχαν οι Γιάννης Πανταζόπουλος, Martijn Ham και Σπύρος Αρσένης, PhD, παρουσιάζοντας εφαρμογές της AI σε διαφορετικούς επιχειρηματικούς κλάδους.

Ο κ. Πανταζόπουλος παρουσίασε τα απτά οφέλη της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης στον κλάδο των αερομεταφορών, όπως η βελτίωση της επιχειρησιακής αποδοτικότητας, η αναβάθμιση της εμπειρίας επιβατών, η μείωση κόστους και του περιβαλλοντικού αποτυπώματος. Παράλληλα, ανέδειξε τις προκλήσεις που σχετίζονται με την εμπιστοσύνη στις αποφάσεις της AI, τη συμμόρφωση με το ρυθμιστικό πλαίσιο και τη διασφάλιση ποιότητας και ασφάλειας δεδομένων.

Martijn Ham

Leader, IT Business Solutions, INTERAMERICAN (μέλος του Achmea)

Ο κ. Ham παρουσίασε το όραμα της INTERAMERICAN για τη μετάβαση σε έναν πλήρως AI-enabled οργανισμό έως το 2030, με εφαρμογές σε εξυπηρέτηση πελατών, λειτουργίες, διαχείριση ρίσκου και analytics. Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δόθηκε στη σημασία της ισχυρής διακυβέρνησης δεδομένων, της ανοικτής αρχιτεκτονικής και της συμμόρφωσης με το EU AI Act.

Καζαντζίδου παρουσίασε τον Ευρωπαϊκό Κανονισμό για την Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη (EU AI Act), αναλύοντας τη διάκριση των συστημάτων AI βάσει επιπέδου κινδύνου και τις βασικές υποχρεώσεις παρόχων και φορέων εφαρμογής συστημάτων υψηλού κινδύνου. Τόνισε τη σημασία της έγκαιρης προετοιμασίας των επιχειρήσεων για τη συμμόρφωση με το νέο ρυθμιστικό πλαίσιο.

Ο κ. Φραγκίσκος παρουσίασε τα βασικά βήματα για την επίτευξη AI readiness και τη συμμόρφωση με τον EU AI Act, αναλύοντας παράλληλα τις διαφορετικές προσεγγίσεις γύρω από το κατά πόσο ο Κανονισμός αποτελεί ευκαιρία για την ανάπτυξη αξιόπιστης και υπεύθυνης Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης ή πρόκληση για την καινοτομία.

How Artificial Intelligence is transforming from technology into a practical business tool

The event “Unlocking AI Literacy for Meaningful Business Impact” was successfully held on Monday, February 3, focusing on understanding Artificial Intelligence and translating it into real business value.

Senior executives and technology experts explored how AI can be meaningfully integrated into businesses, highlighting not only its technological capabilities, but also the importance of strategy, data governance, and the human factor.

The event opened with a welcome address by the President of the Hellenic–Dutch Association, Mr. Yiannis Kantoros, CEO of INTERAMERICAN Group of Companies, who also served as the host of the evening.

This was followed by remarks from the Chairman of the Artificial Intelligence Committee, Mr. Dimitrios Katsouris, who presented the Committee’s work and initiatives, as well as its vision for strengthening AI literacy within businesses. In this context, the Committee’s AI avatar was also introduced, offering a practical demonstration of AI capabilities in action.

Subsequently, the Clio Avatar presented the findings of the research conducted among the member companies of HeDA.

Keynote Speech

Pasquale Zamprotta

The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Pasquale Zamprotta. In recent years, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has gained a strong presence in the healthcare sector, driving innovations that promise improved quality of care and patient outcomes, while simultaneously reducing costs.

However, as he emphasized, contrary to excessive technological enthusiasm, AI is not a solution on its own. At Philips, the value of AI in healthcare is intrinsically linked to the human experience it supports, making a human-centric approach essential—placing healthcare professionals and patients at the core.

The growing role of AI in healthcare is also reflected in market data, with more than 500,000 active AI patents being utilized in hospital environments—approximately 80% of which relate to medical imaging—as well as around 1,000 medical devices incorporating AI-enabled applications.

The panel featured Ioannis Kassios, George Mytilinaios, Evi Boukorou-Georgouda, and Dimitrios Katsouris, who discussed key aspects of introducing AI into business operations.

Mr. Kassios analyzed the role of Large Language Models (LLMs) as cutting-edge technologies that enable the understanding and generation of human language. He noted that their power stems from massive data volumes and billions to trillions of parameters, offering speed, scalability, and multilingual reach. He also emphasized that the true value of AI emerges when it is combined with human expertise, through the “human-in-the-loop” model.

Dimitrios Katsouris

Chairman of the AI Committee & Co-CEO, PILLAR DELTA AI

Mr. Katsouris highlighted that adopting Artificial Intelligence at an operational level is not merely a technological upgrade, but a comprehensive strategic and organizational transformation. He pointed out that many organizations struggle due to fragmented data and outdated processes, which limit AI reliability at scale. At the same time, he stressed the risks of data leakage and the importance of strengthening data governance, quality, and security prior to any large-scale deployment.

Evi Boukorou-Georgouda

CEO & Partner, Generation Y

Ms. Boukorou-Georgouda explained how the integration of AI and chatbots is fundamentally reshaping brand visibility within the digital ecosystem. She underlined that a company’s digital footprint is now shaped by consistent, well-documented, and high-quality presence, with content evolving into a strategic asset that enhances brand reputation and increases the likelihood of being referenced by AI systems in user responses.

Mr. Mytilinaios presented a practical case study on Agentic AI, focusing on how autonomous AI systems can support complex business processes, enhance decision-making, and improve efficiency within large-scale digital environments.

Mr. Pantazopoulos presented the tangible benefits of Artificial Intelligence in the aviation industry, including improved operational efficiency, enhanced passenger experience, reduced costs, and a lower environmental footprint. He also addressed challenges related to trust in AI-driven decisions, regulatory compliance, and ensuring data quality and security.

Martijn Ham

Leader, IT Business Solutions, INTERAMERICAN (member of Achmea)

Mr. Ham outlined INTERAMERICAN’s vision for transitioning into a fully AI-enabled organization by 2030, with applications spanning customer service, operations, risk management, and analytics. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of strong data governance, open architecture, and compliance with the EU AI Act, ensuring that innovation remains safe, responsible, and human-centric.

The event concluded with the Legal AI panel, featuring Elpida Kazantzidou and Petros Fragkiskos.

Elpida Kazantzidou

Ms. Kazantzidou presented the European Artificial Intelligence Regulation (EU AI Act), explaining the classification of AI systems based on risk levels, as well as the key obligations of providers and deployers of high-risk AI systems. She emphasized the importance of early preparation by businesses to ensure compliance with the new regulatory framework.

Petros Fragkiskos

Mr. Fragkiskos outlined the key steps organizations must take to achieve AI readiness and ensure compliance with the EU AI Act. He also examined the differing perspectives on whether the Regulation represents an opportunity for the development of trustworthy and responsible AI or a potential constraint on technological innovation.
