Yiannis Kantoros

Yiannis Kantoros is the CEO of INTERAMERICAN Hellenic Insurance Company.

He holds the positions of president in the Hellenic Dutch Association, president in Health Insurance Committee and member of Board of Directors and Executive Committee, in the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies.

His significant career path within INTERAMERICAN includes key leadership positions, whereas he has cooperated with other multinational companies.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Cardiff Business School and Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).

Mr. George Kotsalos holds a Bachelor of Business Studies and Commerce from the London School of Foreign Trade, an Associateship Diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute, and has attended a series of courses as well as training seminars on Insurance Practice in Athens and abroad (Lloyd’s, Munich Re , Swiss Re, CIGNA, et al.).

Since 2009 he has served in positions of responsibility at the ACHMEA Group, a parent company of INTERAMERICAN, including the Board of Directors of EUREKO SIGORTA and the Board of Directors of the insurance company AVERO Brussels (Belgium, a subsidiary).

Mr. Kotsalos is a Founding Member and Shareholder of Resolut, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dogus Hellas SA while he has served as Managing Director at INTERAMERICAN Group, PHOENIX METROLIFE EMPORIKI, PHOENIX General Insurance, Chairman of the PHOENIX CREDIT and co-director of TRS / VIGGAS Reinsurance.

George Arcadis

George Arcadis has studied Economics at the Economic University of Athens and holds an MBA from Cass Business School, London. He started his career in the banking sector in 1993 and in 1997 joined Mees Pierson as Senior Manager in Transportation. Between 2005 to 2010 he was the CEO of the Fortis Branch in Athens. In 2010 he joined ABN AMRO as Country Executive in Greece and currently serves as Branch Manager of the ABN AMRO Athens Branch.

Panagiotis Baras has graduated from the Department of Physics, University of Athens. He continued his studies in subjects of Medical Physics at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, obtaining his M.Sc. and Ph.D.
He is Chairman and Managing Director of PHILIPS HELLAS S.A. and District Manager of Philips Health Systems in Greece, with responsibility also for Cyprus and Malta. He is member of the BoD of the Greek Association for Societe Anonyme (SAEE) and Treasurer of the Hellenic-Dutch Trade and Industry Association (He.D.A.).
His interests include topics related to healthtech, management of change and innovation, business and healthcare administration, as well as development of telemedicine and e-health business models.

Konstantinos Maggioros

Konstantinos Maggioros is heading FrieslandCampina Hellas since January 2013. He joined FrieslandCampina Hellas in 1988 as Director of Finance & Administration. During the period 2002-2007, he was appointed Marketing Director of the company and was distinguished for the successful introduction of the NOYNOY brand in yogurts and cheese, that eventually led the company to obtain the number 1 position in the Greek dairy market. In 2007, he was assigned to setup and lead the Regional Head Office of FrieslandCampina in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, having the overall responsibility of strategy, innovation and business development for the markets of Asia, Middle East and Africa. In 2009, he became Managing Director of Central Europe, based in Budapest.
He is a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business and holds a masters degree in Business Administration from Ohio State University, USA.
He was born in Athens in 1962 and is married with 2 children.

Kees Rusius holds an MSc in Business Administration from Nyenrode Business University in the Netherlands.

He started his career at Ahold in 2008. In 2010 he joined Albert Heijn where he gained extensive experience within Category Management, Sourcing and Store Operations.

In January 2021, Kees Rusius joined Alfa Beta Vassilopoulos, where he currently serves as Senior Vice President of Commerce.

Kanaris Papanastasopoulos

Kanaris Papanastasopoulos is the General Manager & CEO of Carglass® Greece. He holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Patras and an Executive MBA from the University of Piraeus.

His professional career includes many years of experience in managerial positions of large Greek and multinational companies, while for the last 17 years he has been working in the automotive sector.

During his previous experience as Supply Chain Manager at Carglass® Greece (8 years) he successfully undertook projects crucial for the course of the business. In 2008, he organized the transition to the 1st Distribution Center in Attica and in 2011 the creation of a Hub in Thessaloniki. At the same time, he renegotiated the then agreements with all major glass manufacturers worldwide and consolidated the company’s spare parts availability to 98.5%. An important experience for him was his participation in the Supply Chain design of other countries of the Group, such as China and Turkey.

His career so far as General Manager of Carglass® Greece has been directly linked to the further adoption of digital transformation applications and, of course, the strategic investment in 2014 in the then emerging ADAS systems. At the same time, his direct involvement with the Operational part has brought about significant changes, such as the creation of a more flexible and productive corporate network and, more recently, the assessment of Carglass® working methods as the most appropriate for the industry (IMI).

George Hatzopoulos studied and graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. From 1987 to 1988 George attended Process Engineering post graduate courses in RUHR University, in Bochum Germany. He also posseses a Diploma in Management Studies (Athens Laboratory of Business Administration,2003) and has completed the following management programs:

Alexandros Daniilidis

Alexandros Daniilidis is Managing Director of Athenian Brewery, since January 2018.

He started his career at Athenian Brewery in 1992 from Sales Division. In 2002 he joined the Management Team as Sales Manager Wholesale-Horeca. In 2008 he became Sales Director Greece and in 2010 Commercial Director, while during the period of 2021-2017 held the role of Managing Director Heineken Serbia.

He studied Economics at the University of Piraeus and he has attended various Executive training programs at University of Harvard and INSEAD.

Dimitris Maggioros is the Head of Unilever South East Europe (SEE)

Mr. Dimitris Maggioros was born in Athens. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University USA and holds an MBA Degree in Marketing & Finance.

He started his career in 1996 and for the next 15 years worked in executive/management positions in Marketing and Customer Development, at Colgate-Palmolive and Sara Lee companies.

He joined Unilever in 2011 and has been a Member of the company’s Board of Directors, since 2013. During his tenure at the company, he has served for several years as Marketing Director for the Food and Detergents & Cosmetics categories, until his most recent role as Head of Customer Development Greece in 2017.

In November 2023, Mr. Maggioros has been appointed Head of Unilever South East Europe, with Head Offices based in Athens, and is responsible for the company’s activities in Greece, Cyprus, Albania, Kosovo & North Macedonia. He also retains his existing role as Head of Customer Development for Greece.

He is married and has 3 children.

Alice Corovessi

Alice Corovessi studied Business Administration, Marketing, and Computer Programming and started her career in Tourism and Real Estate. Since 2009 she has been actively involved in promoting energy efficiency and sustainability in the building sector and the built environment. Her key focus is the design, development, and implementation of strategies for medium and large-scale “green” projects that seek to spread their commitments to the values of sustainability and resilience. She is among the co-founders and Managing Director of INZEB (www.inzeb.org), a non-profit organisation active in energy and sustainability research and advocacy activities. She works closely with EU institutions and participates as a project manager and key expert in numerous research projects funded by the European Commission and other funding bodies.

Her personal interests include the social aspects of energy and in this context, she is the co-author of four books on energy poverty alleviation. In 2017 she received the Energy Professional Development Award – Western Europe Region from the Association of Energy Engineers in the USA for her achievements regarding the development of the energy engineering and management profession in Western Europe. She serves as the Vice-Chair of the Renovate Europe Campaign for the years 2022 and 2023 and she is BoD Member of the Hellenic Dutch Association of Trade and Business.

Philippa Michali is the Chairman & CEO of NN Hellas since April 2023.

She is an independent member of the Board of Directors of the listed company Quest Holdings and of the non-profit association ALBA Executive Development & Applied Research in Business Administration.

She is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Association of Insurance Companies of Greece and Chairman of its Life & Pensions Committee.

Before joining NN Group, Philippa worked in insurance sector for more than 25 years, and as CEO of multinational Insurance company for almost 8 years.

She holds a Bachelor Degree in Banking & Financial Management from the University of Piraeus and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from ALBA Graduate Business School. She is a mother of twin boys.

Marianna Politopoulou

Marianna Politopoulou holds an MBA from the Wharton School – University of Pennsylvania and an MSc in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.

Ιn her 30year professional career in Greece and abroad, she has held several CEO and senior management positions, at among others, NN Hellas where she also managed the acquisition and merger of Metife in Greece, National Bank of Greece, Eurobank, Inchcape Hellas Group and Credit Agricole Indosuez Luxembourg. During her diverse experience she achieved significant profitability and growth while transformed the operating model and corporate culture focusing on people, governance, customer experience, innovation, technology and digitization.

Marianna Politopoulou is the CEO of Metropolitan College/ IEK AKMI leading educational Group in Greece and a Non-Executive member of the BoD of Attica Bank and Gr.Sarantis S.A.

She also sits on the following boards as:
