GREEN S.A. is one of the first Greek companies to supply and trade electrical energy in Greece. Following the deregulation of the Greek electrical energy market, GREEN was established in with the aim to gain a leading position in the energy sector, not only in Greece, but the Balkans and the Southeastern Mediterranean in general.
GREEN is active since 2010 in the Greek electricity retail market. GREEN established itself as an excellent business partner to large commercial and industrial consumers connected under medium voltage in Greece securing one of the leading positions amongst private power suppliers in the country. GREEN offers competitive pricing, transparent billing and personalized customer service to small commercial and industrial consumers connected under low voltage as well.
Based on its Power Trading License, GREEN is active in imports and exports of electrical energy from/to the Interconnections with Bulgaria, FYROM, Albania and Turkey. Moreover, by registering in the Italian Energy Stock Exchange (GME), GREEN is capable of importing and exporting electrical energy via the Greece-Italy interconnection on a daily, monthly and annual basis. Additionally GREEN, is active in the Hungarian energy market.
Expanding further, GREEN established three companies in Serbia, Skopje and Albania. In addition to geographical expansion, GREEN is already trading power with more than 50 partners, utilities and exchanges all over Central and South East Europe.
